Listed below are the areas of service within our church along with a brief description. Please indicate the area in which you would like to serve for the upcoming year by placing a 1 by your first choice and a 2 by your second choice. The committee on Lay Leadership is working to equip every area for ministry in 2013.

Evangelism:
Informs the community about the church through advertising, internet, and other media; seeks to increase the viability of the church; contacts visitors, and seeks to attract new members
Education:
Oversees the adult education programs in the life of the church, including Sunday School, Adult Bible studies and other educational programming
Missions:
Serves the greater church through mission trips, service projects, sponsoring missionaries, and providing local assistance
Worship:
Coordinates preparation for services of worship in the church, including such areas as communion, altar guild, lowers, paraments, and serving as an usher or greeter

Children's Council:
Coordinates the total ministry of the church for children, including VBS, Sunday School, Children's church, and other activities
Congregational Ministries:
Oversees ministry opportunities for families in the life of the church, including the Annual Homecoming Celebration, church socials, Dinner on the Grounds and provides for congregational care to persons during periods of hospitalization and/or bereavement
Sr. Adult Council:
Coordinates ministry opportunities for senior adults in the life of the church, including senior adult trips, luncheons, and neighborhood
Memorials:
Seeks to honor those deceased members of our congregation and community through the administration of funds given in their memory
Building Maintenance:
Works to ensure that facilities of the church are maintained in the best possible condition
Church Grounds:
Works to ensure the grounds of the church are kept in the best possible condition
Kitchen & Hospitality:
Provides meals for the congregation on Wednesday evenings and other special events, and prepares and delivers meals for homebound persons
Transportation:
Works to ensure church vehicles are kept in the best possible condition, serve as operators for church vehicles, recruits drivers for church events
History:
Oversees collection and preservation of important documents in the life of the church and works to ensure that these are shared with the congregation
